Article goal

Explain the session auto extension mechanism in the IZI system to avoid interrupting client gaming sessions, and show how to correctly configure auto extension via the Per-minute tariff for club zones.

Who this article is for

  • Club administrators
  • Users with access rights to the “Tariffs” section in the admin panel

What you will learn

  • How auto time extension works in IZI
  • How to configure a per-minute tariff for auto extension
  • Under which conditions auto extension stops
  • What to do if auto extension does not trigger or notifications are not received

Prerequisites

Before you start, make sure that:

  • You have administrator rights with access to the “Tariffs” section
  • Club zones are created and active in the system
  • A Per-minute tariff is created in advance for the zone

How auto extension works in IZI

Auto extension is a mechanism where:

  • after the main session ends, the system automatically applies a per-minute tariff to the client;
  • the session continues without interrupting the game;
  • funds are debited per minute from the client’s balance or linked card;
  • the client receives a notification in the IZI mobile app about the extension.

Auto extension is used when:

  • the client did not manage to extend the package manually;
  • the client wants to play without strict time limits;
  • it is necessary to avoid abruptly disconnecting the client from the PC.

Important: auto extension is not triggered if the client or the administrator ended the session manually.

Step-by-step guide

Step 1. Go to the “Tariffs” section

  1. Log in to the IZI admin panel.
  2. In the left menu open the “Tariffs” section.

Step 2. Configure the Per-minute tariff for the zone

  1. Select the club zone where auto extension should work.
  2. Create or edit a tariff with type “Per-minute”:
    • set the price per hour (the per-minute price is calculated from it);
    • set the minimum start time (from 5 minutes);
  3. Make sure that:
    • the tariff is active;
    • only one per-minute tariff is created for this zone (this is required by the system);
  4. Save the changes.

Step 3. Test the auto extension mechanism

  1. Start a test session with any tariff in the zone where the per-minute tariff is configured.
  2. Wait until the main session ends.
  3. If the client did not end the session manually, the system will:
    • automatically apply the per-minute tariff;
    • start debiting funds;
    • send a notification to the client via IZI.Mobile.

When auto extension stops

Automatic extension stops if at least one of the following conditions is met:

  • the client ended the session via the app or on the PC;
  • the administrator ended the session manually;
  • the client’s balance was depleted;
  • 29 consecutive auto extensions have been completed (system safety limit).

After 29 consecutive extensions the system forces auto extension to stop.
