“Monitoring” section functionality
Section 3.15.3 Monitoring includes two key settings blocks:
- Monitoring subscription management
- Connecting a Telegram bot for notifications
Both blocks are located on a single screen and are designed to manage services related to gaming PC monitoring.
1. Monitoring subscription management
This functionality is under development.
In the future it will allow you to:
- manage the monitoring subscription at the owner’s personal account level
- enable or disable monitoring
- change tariff plans
- manage subscriptions to other IZI services
- view payment history
- control service activity
Where it is located:
- Go to Settings → Monitoring
- At the top of the window you will see the “Manage subscription” button
At the current stage, the button is inactive and serves as a placeholder for a future update.
How it works now:
Any operations related to the monitoring subscription are handled by IZI support. How to contact them is described in article 1.8.
2. Connecting a Telegram bot for notifications
This block allows you to configure automatic monitoring notifications in Telegram.
The bot will send messages if:
- station temperature is too high
- CPU/GPU load is high
- there are disk issues
- anomalies are detected in metrics
Where it is located:
- Go to Settings → Monitoring
- Scroll down to the “Connecting a Telegram bot” block
Required data:
- Your bot token — issued by @BotFather
- Your chat ID — the channel or group where notifications will be sent
What this connection provides
- Instant failure notifications
- 24/7 club status control
- Ability to monitor equipment without logging into CRM
- Reduced risk of downtime and breakdowns thanks to early alerts
Common situations
| Situation | Reason | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| “Manage subscription” button does nothing | Functionality is under development | Contact IZI support |
| The bot does not send notifications | Invalid token or chat ID | Check the token and ID according to the instructions |
| The bot is added to the channel but stays silent | It does not have admin rights | Grant the bot admin rights in the channel |
| Notifications are delayed | Telegram limits message rate | This is normal API behaviour |
| The bot cannot connect | The field is empty or the format is invalid | Make sure the chat ID starts with “-” |
